Dr Steph Reardon
Veterinarian & Practice Owner
Originating from Bacchus Marsh, Steph graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2014 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After working in general mixed practice for 2.5 years, she joined the team in Jerilderie in August 2017.
She is thoroughly enjoying the mixed bag of cases that come through the door every day, and has special interests in bovine obstetrics, small animal internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.
While not at work, Steph spends her time at the local gym (or pub!), and shares her home with a 3-legged Kelpie X, Golden Retriever, cat (who thinks he’s one of the dogs) and 2 silkie hens.=

Helen has worked at the Jerilderie & Berrigan Veterinary Practices for over 30 years!
Helens' experience with caring for and recuperating animals of all species is legendary, from horses & poddy calves to birds & wildlife. She has great patience and knowledge - the sicker the animal, the greater the challenge and reward it is for Helen.

Des McRae
Veterinarian
Des graduated from Sydney University with Honors in 1978. In 1979, he worked at the Sydney University Rural Veterinary Centre, completing an internship involving working and supervising students in small animal medicine & surgery, farm animal medicine & surgery and equine medicine & surgery. Des arrived in Jerilderie in February 1982 to begin a mixed-animal Veterinary Practice. During that time, the practice moved from a predominantly horse practice to a truly mixed-animal practice with clients being serviced within a 90km radius from Jerilderie.
In 1993, Des undertook further studies by doing his Australian Veterinary College Membership exams in Equine Medicine.
Des has a huge wealth of practical knowledge of all domesticated animals in this area and is only too happy to examine them and consult with you about your animals' health.
Des is also known locally for his huge love of football and has been involved in the local football club since 1983 and can still be seen on occasion umpiring for the reserves!
